"I first went to the Licata Clinic because I heard of his specialty and thought it would get to the root of my chronic upper back pain quicker than a general chiropractor. I was experiencing severe upper neck and shoulder pain that was constantly present. The pain flowed down into my left arm and was aggravated every morning after waking up, when I exercised, and when I was overly stressed.
I also didn't realize that I had TMJ and was constantly clenching my jaw. Once it was tight, it was very difficult to relax it. I was generally always in pain and it would elevate at least once a day. I thought I just had to live with it and learn to relax. I visited my primary doctor and she said is was just my muscles. Muscle-relaxers and over-the-counter pain medications did not work.
However, once I began treatments at the Licata Clinic, I saw immediate results! I experienced relief in my upper neck and shoulders that I had not had for at least two years! I felt relaxed and found that I was able to slow down and handle the day to day hustle. I am able to control how tense my body gets and have much more energy. I am sleeping better as well.

I am SO thankful that Dr. Licata came into my life! I suffered with back problems for over twenty years. I was having physical therapy, injections in my spine and regular chiropractic appointments. I was told the last resort was neck surgery. I was totally against surgery and thought I would just have to live with the pain. I was taking strong pain medication daily that I knew was not healthy and then along came Dr. Licata!
After Dr. Licata adjusted me three, maybe four times, I felt relief I hadn t felt in years! I am no longer taking pain medication!

I came to Dr. Licata with debilitating low back pain and sciatica. Even though I was just completing over 100 visits to a regular chiropractor who was giving me corrective care costing $1,000s of dollars, my condition crashed, and I was in a terrible state. I was in severe pain, my muscles were in spasms, and I was not able to sit for more than a few minutes.
My neck also had severe pain. I couldn’t even turn my head to the left.
My condition began about 15 years ago and was caused by a terrible car crash. Several chiropractors promised results, though none helped resolve my condition. On my first visit with Dr. Licata, I could barely walk in the door. I left pain free. It will be a process for me but I feel great! I am no longer depressed. I can go about my daily activities. I love to walk in the hills with my dog several times a week. I’m working up to another thing I like to do which in gardening.
Everyone has been so nice, friendly and professional. They are genuinely concerned for my well being. On my first visit, my spasms were so bad I couldn’t even complete the x-rays without laying down with Dr. Licata s help. He was so kind and understanding. He was concerned and didn’t try to hurry me up to keep a time schedule.
